Wellness Series hosted by Vali and Sylvie

More and more people are educating themselves about health and well being.  This is an exciting time as more and more people are empowering themselves when it comes to their health.  Clearly, the standard form of medical care, although having a place is lacking in helping people achieve an optimum level of health and well being.   I just started a seminar series in NYC and the first one was last week.  The speakers who presented were Sylvie Barthelemy, an Ayurvedic practiioner, Dr Sherri Greene, a holistic podiatrist and I spoke about Aromatherapy/Essential Oils.

Our next gathering is May 22nd, Thursday from 7-9 PM.  The focus of this seminar will be detoxification which is very fitting with Spring.  Sylvie will be speaking from an Ayurvedic prospective and I from an essential oils perspective.  We will be inviting another guest speaker to contribute.

One of my favorite health practices is "oil pulling".  Every morning when I wake up, I take a tablespoon of coconut oil and swish it around my mouth and in between my teeth for up to 20 minutes. Then spit it out and rinse my mouth.  It is a natural tooth whitener and removes toxins from the mouth.  Another favorite is making juices in my Nutribullet.  I put 2 types of greens, 2 types of fruit, bee pollen, chlorophyll, acai powder, collagen powder and a handful of nuts.

What is your favorite health practice?  Please share on Facebook for a chance to win a gift at the end of the month.

All my best,
